Test Steps

1	Mounting screws (10/1) on injection pump flange	loosen, tighten, tightening torque 20 - 25 Nm.
2	Support bracket screw (10/3)	loosen, tighten, tightening torque 20 - 25 Nm.
3	GIM value (engine running at CTP )	adjust by turning screw on adjusting device (8). Direction of rotation of adjusting screw (8) Clockwise = start-of-delivery retarded Counterclockwise = start-of-delivery advanced GIM nominal value (see Test and Adjustment Data, section A).
4	Test equipment	disconnect.
5	Plug (arrow) on fuel injection pump (10)	install, tightening torque 30 - 35 Nm.
6	Leak test with engine running	perform.
7	Engine oil level	check.
